College Partnerships

The College values its relationships and partnerships with other organizations. Partnerships are critical to our development as a new regulator and provide an avenue for development and growth. Two important partnerships are:

Member organization of the Canadian Organization of Paramedic Regulators (COPR) – the College is a constituent member of COPR, one of 9 members representing paramedic regulators across Canada. The College membership supports the use of the National entry to practice examination and a centralized mechanism for the preliminary assessment of credentials for internationally educated paramedics. The College is also a member of the Manitoba Alliance of Health Regulatory Colleges (MAHRC). Important aspects of self-regulation are discussed and collaborative initiatives are developed to strengthen regulatory practice across a number of health care professions in the province of Manitoba.  For more information please visit www.mahrc.net.
