Trish Bergal

Trish joined the College of Paramedics of Manitoba (CPMB) on August 27, 2018. Trish is a Registered Nurse who has worked in the health care sector in Manitoba for 38 years. Trish practiced medical-surgical and intensive care nursing at the Health Sciences Centre (HSC) and has held leadership positions at HSC in Rheumatology/Orthopedic Surgery and Adult Emergency, and with the WRHA Emergency Program team. Trish was also the Regional Director of Patient Access and Transition with the WRHA for 16 years. Trish holds a Master of Nursing from the University of Manitoba; a Fellowship from the EXTRA program from the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation, and holds the designation of Certified Healthcare Executive from the Canadian College of Healthcare Leaders. Trish served on Council of the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba from 2013-2020, including fulfilling the roles of Chair-Elect and Council Chair.
