We are pleased to welcome Tim Partridge to the role of Coordinator of Standards and Education as of September 5th, 2024. Tim has been a Paramedic in a variety of roles since 2011, starting as a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) in the Interlake, then serving for over 10 years with Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) as a PCP, Intermediate Care Paramedic and Community Paramedic. While with WFPS, Tim was also an on-shift trainer for the threat awareness program, a preceptor, and a shop steward.
Tim recently completed WFPS’s accredited Advanced Care Paramedic ACP program wherein he represented his class on its ACP education subcommittee with quality assurance within the program. He was awarded “best presentation” for his 2nd year research project on “IV haloperidol for hyperemesis’.
Off duty, he has been working towards his own philanthropic causes and has been raising money for local initiatives through self-developed channels and events. Earlier this month, he was presented with a certificate of appreciation from the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service in recognition for “providing support for members in need.”
